Kink of the Week – Jan 16-31: Paddles

I have a confession. I decided on the topic for the Jan. 16-31 Kink of the Week for purely selfish reasons: I won an awesome new paddle in a contest and I want an excuse to try it out and tell you all about it!

An array of paddles.

But okay, the #KOTW isn’t all about me…I want to hear all about YOU.

Have you ever used paddles, or had one (or many) used on you? Do you like them or hate them, want to try them or dread them?

Paddles come in many different kinds of materials, shapes and sizes, with different weights and different properties. What kind do you have or want? Is there a particular type that you especially enjoy, or that you particularly dislike? Did you ever get one, thinking “I’ll love this!” only to discover you hated it? Or visa versa, thought you’d hate it but ended up loving it?

What is it about paddles that make them unique from any other kind of toy?

Oftentimes paddles are used as punishment tools, rather than for “play” or pleasure. Does your kink bag have a punishment paddle? What is it like, and what makes it punishment as opposed to pleasure or play?

Do you have a story of a paddling you’d like to share, or perhaps a fantasy? Maybe you’d like to tell us about the first time you were ever paddled, used a paddle on someone, or what you envision your first time might be like…

Let’s Get Our Kink On and talk about Paddles!

New to #KOTW? Here’s how to participate:

If you’d like to submit to the Kink of the Week but don’t have a blog, or want to do so anonymously, send your submissions to piecesofjade at gmail dot com and I’ll post it.

Don’t forget – this topic lasts until January 31.
