Kink of the Week August 16-31: Task/Tasking
Assigning/receiving tasks is a key part of many peoples D/s relationships but to be honest I think it is something that in some form or other appears in many peoples sexual relationships. I am not saying that it is for everyone but I think subtle forms of it are probably fairly common.
If you are in a D/s relationship of some sort is this something that is part of your dynamic? If so, what form does it take. Maybe it is very formal with daily, weekly, etc tasks that must always be completed or alternatively is it a more informal, casual thing that happens when and if.
Are you the person who is tasked? If so why/how does it work for you? What kind of tasks do you have? Is there anything about tasks that you dislike? Have you ever failed one? Is their consequences/punishments to not completing them?
Are you the person who sets the tasks? If so why does it work for you, what do you get out of being ‘the task master’? Have you ever set a task that in hindsight was a mistake? How do you deal with failed tasks? In your mind what is the purpose of setting tasks?
You might not be in a D/s relationship at all but maybe this is still something that works for you. If so why? Alternatively if you are single but like tasks how do you make that work for you? Is it the same if you set them for yourself or does it only work (is hot) if someone else is setting and enforcing them?
Finally maybe the whole idea of this leaves you cold. Too much like work, school, parenting? Or just doesn’t work for you. Whatever it is we want to hear about it.
