Kink of the Week October 16-31: Vampires

I thought that as October is the month which ends with celebrating all things sinister and macabre that maybe a topic that lent itself to such an occasion would be a good idea. There were a few possible candidates on my list, all of which will appear at some point but I thought this one would be an excellent subject.

Vampires have a long and varied history within folklore. In most cultures throughout history a mythical creature that feeds on the flesh and blood of humans can be found. However the term Vampire was not popularized in the west until the 18th century. The first appearance of the word, according to the Oxford English dictionary, was in 1734 when it was spelt Vampyre. However the charming and intelligent Vampire of modern fiction was born in 1819 with the publication of The Vampyre by John Polidori. However, it is Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula which is credited as being the quintessential vampire novel and provided the basis of the modern vampire legend which is still hugely popular to this day in both books and movies.

So are you a Vampire? If so when did this happen to you and how old are you? Are you a gentle and kind Vampire or a cruel and evil? Do you love a human or exist in a world of torment where you can only watch what you desire? Or maybe you are the subject of a Vampires affections?

Before you all think I have lost my mind. Maybe those questions can lead some of you into a fictitious world of Vampires and humans. Tell me the Vampires story, tell me their victims tale. Whatever kinky ideas this inspires in you I want to read them. Alternatively maybe being a Vampire is part of a cosplay kink that you have.

Which leads onto my other thoughts nicely. Do you have a thing for Vampire stories? Is this a type of fiction you love to devour. Did you sit glued to your screens for True Blood imaging what it would be like to have sex with Eric and/or Bill. Maybe you hated True Blood but loved Buffy? Have you ever penned some sexy fanfic for your favourite vampire character? When Halloween comes round will be excited to dress up in your sexiest Vampire costume and go and act out some delicious feasting? Does the whole idea of Vampires, the blood, the passion, the darkness, the danger, the deviance and thrill make your cunt wet or your cock hard?

Of course maybe the whole thing just leaves you cold. A lot of silly nonsense over a made up creature? Feel free to share your thoughts regardless.
