Kink of the Week Dec 16 – 31: Inspection Kink
An inspection kink is one where the person being inspected gets off having their partner assess them in some form or other. It might take the form of a physical inspection but it can also take the form of inspecting their work or tasks they have been set. The top/dom in the situation will appraise them in some way. It can tap into an aspect of humiliation but also can be linked with aspect of praise and/or punishment.
“Do you like my outfit?”
“Turn round and let me see?”
Seems innocuous enough, something fairly common place but add in an element of power exchange or kink to the situation and suddenly it takes on a whole new meaning. Maybe it goes further and the person being inspected is ask to lift their skirt or undo their pants.
Inspection kinks can also involve physical inspections of genitals. Maybe between partner but could be something that could take place as part of a group as one person shows off their ‘property’ inviting others to inspect and asses them too?
Maybe you like the idea of being set tasks and having someone inspect your work? It could be something like making the bed or cleaning the floor or maybe working out or completing actual work of some sort?
Is there a humiliation aspect of it for you? Or is the praise and well done that you are seeking? Maybe you like both and it depends on the scenario
If you are the one doing the inspecting what about it is hot for you? Is it all about the power imbalance and making the other person squirm?
